Website icons for senders

Messages from a company’s own email address show the company’s website icon instead of initials. People on Gmail or a similar service keep their initials. So do messages in Junk and from new senders you haven’t allowed yet. SiteBirdy fetches each icon once, so the company can’t tell when you read their mail. A fake or look-alike address never gets an icon. Well-known brands, such as PayPal or a bank, only get theirs on messages that pass the sender checks, and no other sender can show a brand’s icon.
