Select several messages

Click the picture in front of a message to select it. A bar above the list then acts on all selected messages. Ctrl-click (⌘-click on a Mac) adds a message or a folded line, so you can pick lines and single messages together; the bar says how many messages that is in all. To select every message in the folder, including those further down, choose Select all. Hold Shift and click to select a range. After you move, archive or delete selected messages, they stay in the list, still selected, and show what happened to them, so you can do more with them, such as taking them out of Priority. They go when you clear the selection or select other mail. An action on many messages runs on its own, so you can pick other mail meanwhile; Activity shows how far it is, and you can stop it or undo it.
