SiteBirdy checks what each file really is, not just its name. Risky files include programs, web pages that pretend to be a PDF, Office files with macros and zip files locked with a password. Such a file gets a red frame and a line that says why, and SiteBirdy asks you before opening or downloading it. Nothing is unpacked or run to check it.
