Notices

A notice says what you just did, with Undo, the moment you do it. You choose where it appears and which ones you see.

After you archive, delete or move mail, block a sender or change a setting, a notice says what happened, with Undo. It appears the moment you act, and Undo works straight away. Choose where notices appear: bottom centre, bottom left, bottom right or top right. Turn off the kinds you don’t need, such as notices about settings you change. Error messages always show, and Undo still works with ⌘Z or Ctrl+Z. On a phone, notices appear at the bottom.
